Mats Therman
Mats is an investor and board advisor with roots in engineering and a mindset shaped by growth, renewal, and long-term stewardship. As Investment Director at Hartwall Capital, he’s spent nearly a decade helping companies evolve sustainably, balancing ambition with patience, and strategy with craft.
Trained in machine automation, Mats brings the precision of an engineer and the perspective of an owner to every venture he supports. His work across industries, from industrial technology to design and consumer brands, reflects a belief shared with Elehvator: that real progress is cultivated, not forced.

Niklas Törnkvist
Niklas is a builder of ventures and ecosystems, a founder, investor, and industrial innovator whose work bridges deep technology and environmental renewal. From Magsort’s decarbonisation breakthroughs to his earlier ventures in energy and materials, Niklas has focused on turning industrial by-products into future resources, closing loops where others see waste.
His background in heavy industry and venture creation gives him an instinct for balance: between engineering and empathy, between the patience of transformation and the urgency of change.

Axel is a financial strategist and investor who translates deep industry insight into purposeful transformation. With more than 20 years of experience in ICT, spanning pivotal roles at Nokia Corporation and Microsoft Corporation, as well as active board work and investing, Axel understands what it takes to evolve legacy systems into future-ready engines.
He approaches growth the way a forest does: by nurturing the unseen roots: culture, strategy, finance - so that the visible growth above is resilient, meaningful, and lasting.
